We are pleased to announce that the former Head of EV and battery recycling at Mercedes-Benz AG and Volkswagen AG has backed Integrals Power in the recent round of investment and joined our advisory board.

Christian Reiche has spent 20 years of his professional career involved with battery technology projects with leading battery producers in Asia as well as the automotive and EV technology industry for Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen in Germany. Christian has acquired solid experience in battery raw material projects by traveling around the globe for Rio Tinto as battery materials strategy director which allowed him to develop serious contacts globally in related fields.

Christian has a solid understanding of the challenges facing the battery industry worldwide. Given that Integrals Power is currently building it’s LFP pilot plant and is on track to become the major LFP material supplier in the UK and Europe, he believes this high performance material will revolutionise the current methods employed by Lithium-Ion battery technology and beyond. He also envisages this as the wave of the future for a variety of reasons, but not the least of which is safety, long life, cost and supply security.
