Integrals Power has achieved a game-changing milestone! This first-generation Lithium Iron Manganese Phosphate (LFMP) (50-50) cathode material has achieved a matching specific capacity as LFP, but with an extra 15% energy density. This material has been tested and verified with external partners and is on track to be further scaled up.
Integrals LFP & LFMP cathodes are highly compatible with fast charging technology, which is becoming increasingly important in the EV market. With IPL’s cathodes, fast charging potential (rate recovery) is improved without sacrificing performance. We have significantly improved the rate performance and capacity retention of both cathodes, despite the low electrical conductivity and rate performance issues of typical LFMP/LFP materials.
LFMP batteries are expected to have a significant impact on the battery market in the coming years, thanks to their high stability, safety, capacity retention, energy density, and fast charging capabilities and IPL will surely contribute as a key player in this market.
